TRUISM:
an undoubted or self-evident truth;
especially one too obvious for
mention.
(Websters)
We've
all heard the phrase that “those who ignore history are doomed to
repeat it.” Then why are we, as human beings, so senseless? Why are
there those who continue to ignore truth while trying to find a
“better way?”
Wisdom comes from eons of human trial and error.
Critical observation has allowed us to comprehend our existence. We
have been doing this for all of recorded history, yet, there are
those, even right here in this country, who continue to pronounce
opposite views that have been proven false over the centuries. Some
reminders from the past and present scholars should not be ignored

things equal." -- Aristotle
"Justice
means minding one's own business

not meddling with other men's concerns." -- Plato
"Good
people do not need laws to tell them to act responsibly,
while
bad people will find a way around the laws." -- Plato
To the Leftist
Establishment
"The
curse of me and my nation is that we always think things

be bettered by immediate action of some sort, any sort rather
than
no sort." -- Plato
"Society
is well governed when its people obey the
magistrates,
and the magistrates obey the law." -- Solon

To
the minorities who live off the government
"We
regard wealth as something to be properly used, rather
than
as something to boast about. As for poverty, no one need be
"Toil
is no source of shame; idleness is shame." -- Hesiod
Communists,
Socialists, Progressives, Democrats, and even belief based
organizations need to heed mankind's historical revelations of the human condition. If we ignore the great truisms of civilization, then thousands of years of humanity will be for nought.
