About Us

Are you ready for the truth? The REAL truth of who is REALLY running this country and the world. You may be shocked or shake your head in disbelief, but the truth is that everything you have learned or been told in your lifetime has been slanted or distorted to fit an agenda. It's the way they keep the populace under control. You have been programed to believe the lies. It's hard not to when the lies and half-truths are bombarding our brains daily. Do you want to continue to be controlled or are you ready to think for yourselves? We must restore a reverence for the principles of liberty underlying the U.S. Constitution in the minds of enough Americans to tip our country back toward limited constitutional government. Those who understand the importance of the Constitution to liberty will defend it. Those who don’t, won’t. - Editor: M. Richard Maxson - Contributors: George Sontag, Zeno Potas, and Phillip Todd.

An American Woman of African Descent Finds Truth

by

      Zeno Potas

This is a first in a series of articles written by Americans who, in their own words, reveal their own epiphanys’ about what is REALLY going on in this country. Using their intellect and critical analytical thinking they discuss how they broke through the lies and propaganda which envelopes our citizens minute by minute of every day to find truth.

"My departure from the Democratic Party was part of a gradual process that took more than a decade to solidify. Leaving one’s political party can be as painful as a divorce, especially if you have been there all your life. For me, being a Democrat was as natural as breathing. In fact, I spent almost two-thirds of my adult life in the party into which I had been born. Like others around me, I believed the false narrative that the Republicans were the party of the rich and the Democrats were the party of the working class. My party affiliation was a no-brainer."

"After attending college and studying politics, history, and law, I became even more persuaded by the rightness and soundness of my allegiance to the Democrats. Intellectually, I knew the histories of the two parties and how the Republican Party had been the party of Abraham Lincoln and how it had fought for anti-lynching laws and integration. However, like many other college educated Americans, I bought into the myth known as the Southern Strategy, whereby the two parties switched places. The Democrats became the party of civil rights and the Republicans the party of racism, a perception I now know to be false."

"I wasn’t ready to become a Republican, even though I shared most of the values and principles espoused by them. I was too influenced by the news media and the books and articles I had read over the years. So, initially, I stayed with the Democrats and I suffered from cognitive dissonance, the condition of holding views and perspectives different from my actions and behaviors."

Intellectually I was at war with myself. I saw stark contradictions between my worldview and the Democratic Party’s position on the issues I care about most deeply. Eventually, it became clear to me that I should align myself with the party offering the strongest defense of the constitutional rights, of the unborn, the perpetuation of marriage between a man and a woman, religious liberty and freedom of conscience.

"The Republican Party’s historical commitment to civil rights, free-market capitalism, limited government, and individual liberty factored into my decision making. I was also moved by the charitable works of conservative Republicans that I saw working with inner-city youth and missions. These people were pouring themselves into the lives of the poor and disenfranchised and picking up where the government left off, when it came to helping refugees and immigrants. It was party and faith in action that prompted admirable actions of a civic nature."

"I have great concern about the Democratic Party’s vision for America and its unethical alliance with the mainstream media. It’s a partnership that enables leftist politicians to use nonstop attacks and criticisms of President Donald Trump to deceive voters about the president and those of us who have aligned with the Republican Party. High-ranking Democrats have encouraged their constituents to confront and harass Republicans, while the latter go about their daily business. This is dangerous and un-American, and we know it won’t end well."

"The Democratic Party today isn’t the same as the Democratic Party of my youth and early adulthood. It is a party in decline that has allowed itself to be overrun and taken over by its most radical pro- Communist elements. The new Democrats show a disdain for America and its people. Its leaders are willing to argue against due-process rights, the presumption of innocence, and the rule of law. Democratic Socialism has failed everywhere it’s been tried. Republicans know this. We should run, not just walk away, from the Democratic Party."

Carol M. Swain is a former professor of political science and law at Vanderbilt University and a James Madison scholar at Princeton University. Her most recent book is “Debating Immigration: Second Edition” (2018). These are excerpts from her article "I Saw the Light and Went From Democrat to Republican."

Gone are the Days of True Journalism

by

       George Sontag

"I’m terribly concerned that when you talk about The New York Times these days, when you talk about The Washington Post these days, we’re not talking about The New York Times of 50 years ago. We are not talking about The Washington Post of 50 years ago."
                                                                                       - Ted Koppel

Today, there exists only a handful of major mainstream media networks and they are all controlled by a very small group of corporations and the people that run them. Think about that: 90-95% of the information we see is given to us by them, and nobody else. In Washington and beyond, the press has evolved from being part of the solution to being a major part of the problem and that problem is the difference, between what actually happened, and what the MSNBC, or CNN, or New York Times, etc, say happened.
                                                      But what about the truth?

"Fake grassroots movements funded by political, corporate, or other special interests very effectively manipulate and distort media messages."                                                                                    - Former CBS News reporter Sharyl Attkisson

This "Western Media" has historically touted itself
initially as the opposite of the news as used to be broadcast in the Soviet Bloc, or China, or "Third World" in general, which was branded as "state-controlled," "propaganda," and therefore false. They claim that they are the only independent, objective, and fair media. Nothing could be further from the truth. The media is used by the corporate, political, and intelligence world. They are sold stories, and present fake narratives on various global events for a number of different reasons. They cater only to their agenda shaping public opinion by passing on half-truths and outright lies to the public. It is systemic mass deception. One might then even call the media, in Orwell's words, "objectively pro-fascist," functioning much in the manner of the old Pravda and Izvesti of the Soviet Union. They have become what they claim the others were. In this information era dismantling that falsehood and exposing its lies can be done, not by taking in news offered only by these corporate conglomerates, but by researching other sources from around the world and using critical analytical thinking to come to a truthful conclusion.

Gone are the days when just turning on the national news to get to the “truth.” With six companies controlling most everything the Western world consumes in regard to media employing hundreds of channels, websites, news outlets, newspapers, and magazines, making up ninety percent of all media is being controlled by very few people—giving Americans the illusion of choice.

Gone are the days of true journalism. The content you see is only there because you have been “allowed” to see it. All of these things can be used to influence your views on the world. The information you see can be manipulated to shape your thoughts and understanding. Instead of silencing your opinions, they may simply be… altered. This silent propaganda is the cause of the majority of our nations’ problems. This is what is causing the division in our country.

The good news is that more and more people across the globe are starting to wake up to all of the misinformation being spread on a daily basis, and that includes the agenda of those behind it. Even a decade ago, the mass populace was not as aware that all is not as it seems, and as a result of this mass awakening, our perception, our thoughts, our collective consciousness is beginning to shift. Many intelligent people no longer see the world the way it has been presented to us, and they are starting to wake up to all of the propaganda that surrounds us and that is creating big problems for the global elite. The very first step to changing a problem is to first recognize that problem, and we are still in that process. The more people recognize what’s really happening in our world, the more people will take a stand and do whatever they can to change it. This is happening now, in several different ways, and it starts with you and me.

Communist Socialism, The Democratic Party, and The Media

By

       Zeno Potas

A recent shock to moderate Democrats was a national poll just taken that stated 47% of it’s members prefer Socialist Communism rather than our current republican system. Forty-Seven percent!!! We need no further proof that today’s “Democratic” party is NOT the ones of our grandfathers nor even our fathers. It is a party bent on changing our country, our Constitution, and our way of life...and not for the better.

Led by the international Socialist elite they have taken almost complete control of our nations' media which includes newspapers, television, films, and social media platforms. We have discovered a scientific study that concluded Google, considered a simple search engine, was instrumental in swaying between 2-10 million votes during the last election towards the Clinton campaign! A chilling finding for America that we will be speaking of in the near future. Propaganda and manipulation are nothing new, of course. But whereas in the past they worked like carpet bombing, now they are becoming precision-guided munitions.

Old school Democrats are cautiously beginning to speak out but to be too bold in dissent on the left risks political shunning. Just ask Rep. Dan Lipinski (D-Ill.) - -Lipinski, is one of the few remaining conservative Democrats in Congress. He is battling for his political life. Powerful interests are lined up against him. Outside spending groups are forming to advocate his defeat. National political figures have endorsed his opponent, a candidate far more in line with liberal orthodoxy. There are people who just want me to follow in line and vote however the party says … We have gotten to a point where everything is black and white. You are either for something in theory or against something in theory.”

The ‘Walk Away” movement is inspiring many moderate Democrats and many who are “people of color” to stand up and speak up for true American values. It’s a shame many of these want to remain anonymous. It only proves the previous point. Here are a few examples:

  • My departure from the Democratic Party was part of a gradual process that took more than a decade to solidify. Disillusionment in the early 2000s caused me to shift from self-identifying as a Democrat to referring to myself as an Independent.”
  • The Democratic Party I see today is very different from the one I knew and worked for in my younger years. Instead of seeking support from the center of the political spectrum it has moved ever leftward, embracing positions that leave millions of Americans feeling left out. Few Democrats now have any more interest in bipartisanship, instead preaching to the choir in fundraising emails or on MSNBC about how Republican actions are evil and cruel.”
  • After years of voting for the Democratic Party based upon indoctrination and relying on what others said, I began to investigate all of the promises they had made and not kept. At the same time, I researched the Republican Party and what they had done to advance the cause for African-Americans. I saw that the values of the party lined up with my beliefs." - Clarence Henderson, a participant in the Feb. 1, 1960, sit-in at a Greensboro, N.C.
  • I spent almost two-thirds of my adult life in the party into which I had been born. Like others around me, I believed the Republicans were the party of the rich and the Democrats were the party of the working class. My party affiliation was a no-brainer. After attending college and studying politics, history, and law, under ideological driven professors, I became even more persuaded by the rightness and soundness of my allegiance to the Democrats. The Democrats became the party of civil rights and the Republicans the party of racism, a perception I now know to be false.” - Carol M. Swain is a former professor of political science and law at Vanderbilt University and a James Madison scholar at Princeton University.

I have great concern about the Democratic Party's Socialist vision for America and its unethical alliance with the mainstream media. It’s a partnership that enables leftist politicians to use nonstop attacks and criticisms of anyone or any policy in order to deceive voters about those of us who are Independent or are aligned with the Republican Party. It is a party that has allowed itself to be overrun and taken over by its most radical elements. The new Democrats show a disdain for America and its people. Its leaders are willing to argue against due-process rights, the presumption of innocence, the first and second amendments to the Constitution, and the rule of law. Equally frightening is that high-ranking Democrats have encouraged their constituents to confront and harass Republicans at every encounter, while the latter go about their daily business. The behavior is reminiscent of the NAZI brownshirts. This is dangerous and un-American, and we know it won’t end well.

Doing Something Wrong - Eroding the Constitution.

by

       M. Richard Maxson

Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch is a constitutionalist. He believes that the Founding Fathers meant what they said and said what they meant. They laid down basic truths that serve a vital role in sustaining the republic, a nation established on the idea that the government exists to serve the people—not the other way around. He believes that our founders chose to believe that the people could govern themselves prudently, without destroying the civil liberties their ancestors had won, and without subjecting political minorities to arbitrary power.

Today, as he sits on the nation’s highest court, he is troubled by what he sees as an attack on the country and the constitution by Leftist forces that would like to see that constitution replaced or modified of it’s original intent. He sees the lower courts filled with “activist” judges that do not interpret the Founders meaning in the constitution, as they should, but rather how they would “like” it to be. He wrote, American liberals have become addicted to the courtroom, relying on judges and lawyers rather than elected leaders and the ballot box, as the primary means of effecting their social agenda on everything from gay marriage to assisted suicide to the use of vouchers for private-school education. This overweening addiction to the courtroom as the place to debate social policy is bad for the country and bad for the judiciary.”

Justice Gorsuch, who is proponent of originalism which means that judges should attempt to interpret the words of the Constitution as they were understood at the time they were written, says the only thing a judge should consider, “Is this law true to the Constitution?” The rejection of this line of thinking permits jurists to interpret the Constitution in novel and creative or even destructive ways, according to their own ideologies. It permits them to adapt a meaning in the text that they wish had been there to fortify contemporary societal attitudes. They are not there to wish and this “we are above the mere words on the paper" attitude is a violation of their duty as jurists’ There is a deeper and more long lasting impact of their decisions that raise the question whether we are still living in America, where "we the people" are supposed to decide what kind of society we want, NOT have our betters impose their notions on us. He wrote. “If you’re going to be a good and faithful judge, you have to resign yourself to the fact that you’re not always going to like the conclusions you reach. If you like them all the time, you’re probably doing something wrong.” Many of the lower court justices ARE doing something wrong.

The Founders Warned of a Poisonous Two Party System

by

       M. Richard Maxson

When George Washington became President of the United States in 1789, there were no political parties. Political parties first emerged during Washington’s first term in office with the Alexander Hamilton’s Federalist Party in 1791 and in the following year, the formation of the Anti-Federalist Party or Democratic-Republicans under the leadership of Thomas Jefferson. The two political parties formulated their differing views of how government ought to operate in the new republic.

By 1796, President George Washington was so distressed by the way America was splitting into two political factions that he devoted much of his Farewell Address to warning his countrymen, "in the most solemn manner, against the baneful effects of the spirit of party" over the spirit of the nation. He acknowledged that it was natural for people with common interests to organize into competing groups. But passionate loyalty to political parties too often fueled "the most horrid enormities" — vengefulness, dissension, and repression.” he stated, “The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge, natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism.” John Adams agreed. He said, "There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader, and concerting measures in opposition to each other. This, in my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution."

The 1800 presidential election was extraordinarily bitter. Jefferson, who like President Trump was not expected to win, successfully challenged the Federalist incumbent, John Adams. Federalists were enraged at losing the White House, and there was real fear, as there was in 2016, that party hatred would ignite into violence. Fortunately, the transfer of the White House was peaceful, and Jefferson's address is remembered for his famous plea for unity: "We are all Republicans. We are all Federalists." Toxic partisanship sickens a society, George Washington warned. "It agitates the community" and "kindles the animosity of one part against another." Tens of millions of Americans agree with him.

As is evident today, Democrats or Republicans, and their rivalry has lately grown more poisonous and hateful than at any time in memory. The Founding Fathers were right, unity doesn't stand a chance when American politics are dominated by an unhinged two-party duopoly. This dominance is why there is no third political party in the United States, but examining the figures there should be.

According to the Pew Research Center, 38 percent of US adults call themselves independents, significantly more than those who are Democrats (31 percent) or Republicans (26 percent). Quite a few voters, it would seem, share George Washington's aversion to partisanship. The "people's house" was designed to reflect the public's loyalties, preferences, and passions. In a nation where more than 1 of every 4 registered voters explicitly rejects a party affiliation, there ought to be scores of independents serving in the House.

Unfortunately today, with the power of the Internet to inflame widespread rage and contempt, and to micro-examine and destroy one’s opponent, the continuation of this entrenched two party system is inevitable. A third party challenge, such as that of Ross Perot, is inconceivable. A third party candidate would be drawn and quartered by the Leftist corporate bureaucracy that control our entire media. They have an agenda and a third candidate is not part of their plans.
