About Us

Are you ready for the truth? The REAL truth of who is REALLY running this country and the world. You may be shocked or shake your head in disbelief, but the truth is that everything you have learned or been told in your lifetime has been slanted or distorted to fit an agenda. It's the way they keep the populace under control. You have been programed to believe the lies. It's hard not to when the lies and half-truths are bombarding our brains daily. Do you want to continue to be controlled or are you ready to think for yourselves? We must restore a reverence for the principles of liberty underlying the U.S. Constitution in the minds of enough Americans to tip our country back toward limited constitutional government. Those who understand the importance of the Constitution to liberty will defend it. Those who don’t, won’t. - Editor: M. Richard Maxson - Contributors: George Sontag, Zeno Potas, and Phillip Todd.

Where Are We - Who Are We?

By

       M. Richard Maxson

As the election of 2016 closed in we here at The American Constituionalist met to discuss whether or not to cease publishing this blog. Our focus was on the need for such a forum. Some were of the opinion that the United States and it's constitution were now in the dustbin of history and with coronation of Queen Hillary - Democratic Corporate Socialism would completely engulf this once proud nation. What our fellows did not know is that through the efforts of others and ourselves the story of the tallying of the votes by the Soros machine was heard. One by one, many states disconnected and counted their own votes for submission. The overwhelming surge from middle America at the polls could not be hidden or denied. They came out in huge numbers, perhaps not to vote for the Republican, but to vote for America, the Constitution, and against the Socialism of the Democratic party. We shall see where President-elect Trump takes us back to the Founder's ideals or somewhere else, but what became apparent to us is that our work is not done. We will continue to speak out against the lies and propaganda that is leading America, as we have known it, towards it's destruction.

With over 200 articles on this incarnation of the blog, you, the readers, have a treasure trove of truth to explore without bias or propaganda. As this being the end of the year, we are bringing our readers up to date on the history, modest accomplishments, and consequences of publishing - The American Constitutionalist.

SURVEILLANCE

Before the public was aware, before the whistle-blowers, before Edward Snowden's massive trove of proof, we published our first piece on the massive eves-dropping and information intrusion on the American people. The AC immediately drew a response from the government. Our publisher's son had his security clearance revoked (They thought it was his blog) and all persons connected to The American Constituionalist were put on the U.S. government's “watch list” where we remain to this day. We found that the use of “key words” triggered the surveillance system to spy on whoever used them. Some of these “key words” are Liberty, Founders, Vote(r), Bilderburger, Propaganda, Soros, Ukraine, Islam, Bankers, and, believe it or not, Constitution just to name a few.

THE GOVERNMENT(?) SHUTS US DOWN

After publishing a number of articles on a once a month basis (many of these were written by authors with similar viewpoints and they were credited for their work) this blog disappeared from the internet! We repeatedly inquired to our publishing agent as to what happened and where the blog had gone. We were met for months with silence. To this day we still have no answers for it's mysterious disappearance. Not to be deterred we started anew only to find out that our domain name had been frozen. We did not want to leave our readers, our work, unfinished – so now our domain name has the word “the” - twice in it (eg, thetheamericanconstituionalist@blogspot.com.) By doing this we have been buried in the nation's search engines making it very difficult for new inquiring minds to find us.

WE HAVE BEEN HEARD

If we are to bring America back to it's greatness we must return to the time tested wisdom of our Founding Fathers. To accomplish that we patriots MUST take back the Democratic party from the Communist Socialist element that now have it firmly in their grasp as they stated they would do in goal #15 in the declaration of 1963 (See: http://rense.com/general32/americ.htm ) There are still a few non-radicals within the party that want their organization back. They are in denial of the truth and as you can see by their demands they are really outside of what the party stands for today. Here is a list of goals from that small number of constitutional patriotic members of the Democratic party:

1. Elites Must Go. We will push aggressively for a constitutional amendment for term limits. We also support a lifetime ban on elected officials serving as lobbyists. You don’t drain a swamp just to let it fill back up again.

2. Fair Trade. NAFTA and the World Trade Organization must be renegotiated. For 20 years, we have shipped jobs abroad with the promise of cheap goods and better jobs in return. Economists acknowledge this arrangement has failed.

3. Economic Vitality. We support rebuilding America’s infrastructure to facilitate job growth and protect the health of our people. This is especially true in rural America and inner cities. Meanwhile, we must address the economic tsunami heading our way: Silicon Valley’s automation, robotics, and artificial intelligence.

4. Education. We staunchly support public education and recognize the tough position of today’s teachers. Still, there is room for reform. Charter schools are part of that solution.

5. Energy. The elites shipped us off to wars and conflicts or oil. No more. It’s time to rebuild our electrical grid and let the free market develop solar, wind and natural gas projects in its place; no Solyndras.

6. National Security. We embrace the goal of making countries democratic, but not by the barrel of a gun. Wars like Iraq and Libya must end. Next, our fight against terrorism should include a tough line against the radical Islamic ideology that pours from Saudi Arabia. Finally, we must build an aggressive capacity to address asymmetrical threats like cyber attacks.

7. Corporate America. Wells Fargo recently admitted to opening up two million fake accounts in our names. This isn’t an anomaly: big corporations often chase profits at the expense of the American worker. We will fight any efforts to roll back common sense rules to keep businesses honest.

8. Environment. The Iroquois tribe had it right – every decision should consider how it would impact seven generations in the future. Our posterity deserves the cleanest water and freshest air we can give them, even if that means we sacrifice today.

9. Social Issues. The government should get out of our bodies, our bedrooms, and our churches. So long as our choices don’t involve taxpayer money, it’s no one’s business but our own. Next, we reject identity politics and their corrosive effects on the nation. Finally, we embrace individual responsibility and accountability.

10. Social Safety Net. We understand that the government can be a force for good if it’s directed properly. Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security are prime examples of that. We are amenable to reform but not if it undermines America’s basic protections for the most vulnerable.

As we offer these principles to the America people, we also extend a hand to Mr. Trump. We are ready and eager to cooperate where it fits these values, but will stand firm if pushed too far. Still, we stand shoulder to shoulder with all Americans who – whether they voted for Trump or not – want to make America great again. "We are Democrats who want the same."

If the party realizes these goals, then together we can reclaim our media and eduction system putting an end to the leftist Socialism that has our country in it's grip. This declaration is proof that there are decent patriots left in the party. They may only number less than 20% but that may be enough to reverse the march towards Socialism. It has to be.

American Exceptionalism - The Electoral College

By

      M. Richard Maxson

Many today, who have not been educated of the workings of our nation and the Constitution, are once again in an uproar over the results of this past presidential election. Democrats, for the second time in sixteen years, are bemoaning the electoral college. They claim that this is not democracy – and they are right. What they forget is that this country is a Republic – a Republic of individual states with individual
rights. (i.e., federalism, as opposed to direct democracyOur Founding Fathers established the Electoral College because those larger states, those larger areas, don't necessarily need to be the ones that rule. If that were the case then the today's elections would be decided by the four most populated states making the other 46 insignificant. The Electoral College process was actually put in place to ensure a nationwide system of fairness.

James Madison,in the Federalist No. 10, argued against "an interested and overbearing majority" and the "mischiefs of faction" in an electoral system. He defined a faction as "a number of citizens whether amounting to a majority or minority of the whole, who are united and actuated by some common impulse of passion, or of interest, adverse to the rights of other citizens, or to the permanent and aggregate interests of the community."

What was then called republican government with its varied distribution of voter rights
and powers, would countervail against factions. Madison further postulated in the Federalist No. 10 that the greater the population and expanse of the Republic, the more difficulty factions would face in organizing due to such issues as sectionalism. His vision was extraordinary.

In The Federalist Papers, James Madison explained his views on the selection of the president and the Constitution. In Federalist No. 39, Madison argued the Constitution was designed to be a mixture of state-based and population-based government. Congress would have two houses: the state-based Senate and the population-based House of Representatives. Meanwhile, the president would be elected by a mixture of the two modes.

Another of our country's Founders,Alexander Hamilton, in Federalist No. 68 laid out what he believed were the key advantages to the Electoral College. The electors come directly from the people and them alone for that purpose only, and for that time only. This avoided a party-run legislature, or a permanent body that could be influenced by foreign interests before each election. Hamilton explained the election was to take place among all the states, so no corruption in any state(s) could taint "the great body of the people" in their selection. The choice was to be made by a majority of the Electoral College, as majority rule is critical to the principles of republican government. Hamilton argued, electors meeting in the state capitals were able to have information unavailable to the general public. Hamilton also argued that since no federal officeholder could be an elector none of the electors would be beholden to any presidential candidate.

Under our unique system the people only indirectly elect the president, as the national popular vote is not the basis for electing the president or vice president. The president and vice president of the United States are elected by the Electoral College, which consists of 538 presidential electors from the fifty states and Washington, D.C. Presidential electors are selected on a state-by-state basis, as determined by the laws of each state. Since the election of 1824, most states have appointed their electors on a winner-take-all basis, based on the statewide popular vote on Election DayMaine and Nebraska are the only two current exceptions, as both states use the congressional district method. Although ballots list the names of the presidential and vice presidential candidates (who run on a ticket), voters actually choose electors when they vote for president and vice president.

The states stay together as one country because each is treated equally and not dominated by the states with higher populations. The Electoral College gives a very fair perspective, so that those who are in the rural areas are able to have an equal voice with those who are in the urban areas. These rights, assigned by the Constitution, gives the population of each state an equal vote in who is their leader and they cannot be destroyed just because the coastal states have more population. This is one of the pillars in this government known - as The United States.

Observations on Socialism in the United States

by

       M. Richard Maxson

  • For the past several decades, government public schools and nearly all colleges have touted Socialism’s principles of redistribution, racialism and class envy while declining to connect the dots between Socialism and tyranny, examples of which abound. American values are demonized as misguided so is it any wonder that so many young people have a rosy view of Socialism.

  • This is a shocking development in the quarter of a century after the spectacular worldwide collapse of Socialism. It is the consequence of several decades of extreme political correctness in our educational system where Constitutionalists, who might have educated our young people about the reality of Socialism, have been so effectively censored.

  • The main problems with Socialism is that it will destroy your economic future and your children’s future. It creates an unjust society where a small political elite enriches itself by imposing a regime of equality of poverty and misery on most everyone else.

  • Socialism has been associated with the worst crimes in human history.

  • U.S., UK, And EU, Are Now Socialist semi-dictatorships There are various types of this, such as Communist (‘workers’ dictatorship), Fascist (corporate dictatorship), etc., but those are merely fine points on basically the same beast, and all variants of the Socialist beast have two classes of people: the aristocracy, who rule, and the public, who are ruled.

  • The Socialist welfare state also harms the poor by destroying their work incentives, crowding out private charities, and causing family breakups where fathers are replaced by government checks; and it destroys personal freedoms by using governmental force in pursuit of “equality.”

  • The system is not merely rigged; it is actively designed to suppress and repress those who reject subjugation by, and submission to, the liberal elite. They do not want us to be, nor do they have any intention of letting us be, free, unmolested, and active participants in our own governance. "They" know what is best for us.

  • It has been demonstrated time and time again that a government-controlled Socialist media is not a free media. The ease with which the government would be able to censor or "edit" the news is a chilling prospect to imagine. We are suddenly finding ourselves in a world where free speech in the media is what they say it is and would first have to be “approved.”

  • Socialism requires a gargantuan government so it can confiscate property, control behavior and manage an always growing list of programs to achieve “fairness and equality.”

  • Socialism will take something from someone else who earned it and give it to you and in return, you will do what Socialists want you to do.

  • You can go to college and you don’t have to pay for it! Someone else will give you a place to live, food stamps, welfare and health care! In return, you just have to give up on your pride, your dreams and control of your own life.

  • Socialism is for slaves who are willing to give up their freedom for promises that they’ll be given some minimal level of support no matter what. On the other hand, capitalism is for people who want the freedom to rise or fall based on their own effort.

  • Socialism in this country is pushed forward by the Democratic party. There is no GOP leadership to stop the forward march of Socialism in the U.S.

The Russian Boogeyman

 by

        Phillip Todd

The US and it's  war suppliers keep Vladimir Putin as public enemy #1. It is a daily theme in America.

THIS IS THE BIGGEST LIE IN AMERICA TODAY

It is the excuse for perpetual war.

This is the real Putin:

State of the Country Address - In his own words.

"We are committed to a friendly, equal dialogue, to upholding the principles of justice and mutual respect in international affairs; we are ready for serious discussion on the creation of a stable system of international relations in the 21st century.”

"It is unacceptable to drag the schisms, malice and grudges of the past into our modern life, to pursue selfish interests by speculating on tragedies that had happened ...”

"...I would like to emphasize – in culture, in politics, in mass media, in public life and in discussions over economic issues no one can prevent anyone else from thinking freely and openly expressing their positions."

 On the protests in America.

"If some people consider themselves more ‘developed’, better-educated or even more intelligent than someone else, they should treat other people with respect – this is only natural. And of course I consider that an aggressive reaction to this is equally unacceptable, especially when it develops into vandalism and violations of the law."

"We stand ...against any monopoly, whether it is a claim on exclusivity, or attempts to adjust for one’s own good the rules of international trade, restrict freedom of speech, or impose censorship in the international space.”

IN addition - so there is NO mistake

Putin praises people’s unity, but says there’s no way back to ideological monopoly (of Communism)

"We are not speaking about dogmas, about false unity demonstrated for show and especially about coercing someone into accepting some particular worldview. You all know well that it has already happened in our history and we have no intention to return to this past."

As you can see from his own words he is not the boogeyman that the US government would have us believe. This 'war for profit" economy NEEDS an enemy to keep the dollars flowing into the pockets of the elite. The demonization of Russia and Vladimir Putin is the "flavor of the month" since the Taliban has fallen into disarray and is no longer a credible foe.

The emergence of the public's realization of "fake news stories" might begin to open their eyes to the slanted pro-war propaganda that permeates western media. Russia wants to befriend us and would make a outstanding ally in an ever dangerous world. This could only happen if the U.S. government sees the world, not the way we are trying to force it to be, but rather through the new eyes without bias and learn who our "real" enemies truly are.
