Vladimir
Putin is demonized daily in the US and it's western press. As a
citizen of the world I cannot stand by and allow these outright lies
and vicious falsehoods to continue to be shoved down America's throat without comment. This continuing
stream of propaganda is driving our planet toward a war that we may
not be able to recover from and for what? Continuing profit for the
western elite.
Since
WWII the United States has been the #1 arms supplier to the world.
Number one by a large margin. The main enemy during this time has
been touted as Russia. This narrative keeps the citizenry living in
constant fear and willing to sacrifice our national treasure and our
young men's lives chasing this lie. The result is that the rich get
richer. Nothing changes - Perpetual war.
You
want the truth? That is why you come here. We always suggest that you
read news from “outside the US sphere of influence” to gain “rest
of the world's” view. Use your own critical analysis and try to see
the truth through a life time of repetitive propaganda that we all
have endured since childbirth.
Russia
does NOT want to be our enemy, we make it so. The elite want it so.
Russia wants respect, co-operation, and to feel safe within their own
borders. Here are quotes from that “evil” Valdimir Putin. Read
the words-grasp their meaning. You may not have heard much of this in our press-they don't want you to see the truth.
ON
DEMOCRACY AND FREEDOM
"People
are always teaching us democracy but the people who teach us
democracy don't want to learn it themselves."
"I
think: the powers like to talk about "freedom" in order to
wash the population's brains."
"At
least in Russia, you cannot just go and tap into someones phone
conversation without a warrant issued by court. That's more or less
the way a civilized society should go about fighting terrorism.”
ON FAITH
"We
are all different, but when we ask for the Lord's blessings, we must
not forget that God created us equal."
"I
think every person should have some faith inside him, in his heart.
What matters is not an external display of this faith, but the inner
state of the soul."
ON
LGBT
“If
you want my personal attitude, I would tell you that I don't care
about a person's sexual orientation.
“I
myself know some people who are gay. We're on friendly terms. I'm not
prejudiced in any way.”
ON RUSSIA
“I
see that not everyone in the West has understood that the Soviet
Union has disappeared from the political map of the world and that a
new country has emerged with new humanist and ideological principles
at the foundation of its existence.”
“Russia
does not and cannot have any political choice but democracy. I want
to say, and even stress, that we share those universal democratic
principles taken around the whole world.”
“The
Russian people have unilaterally made their choice in direction of
democracy in the early '90s. They will not be led astray. Nobody
should be having any doubts.”
"Russia
does not want confrontation of any kind. And we will not take part in
any kind of holy alliance."
"Russian
culture is multifaceted and diverse. So if you want to understand, to
feel Russia, then of course you need to read books, Tolstoy and
Chekhov and Gogol and others. Listen to music. Tchaikovsky. Watch our
classical ballet. But the most important thing is that you need to
talk with people."
“If
there are people who act outside the law, then the state must use
legal means to impose law in the interests of majority. That's the
way it's done in the U.S., and that's the way it's done in Russia.
Our society, including the liberals, must understand that there must
be order.”
"Stalinism
is linked with a cult of personality and massive violations of the
law, with repression and camps. There is nothing like that in Russia
and, I hope, will never again be."
ON THE ELECTION
"I've
repeatedly seen the anti-Russian card played during domestic
political campaigns in the States. I think that it's a very
short-sighted approach. It seems to me that it doesn't fully meet the
level of responsibility that lies on the shoulders of the U.S. I
think that all this should be more dignified, calm and more
balanced."
“I
think the American people should express their preferences, and we'll
accept their choice.”
"Maybe
they have nothing else to do in America but to talk about me."
ON THE UNITED
STATES FOREIGN POLICY
“It's
alarming that military intervention in internal conflicts in foreign
countries has become commonplace for the United States.”
“Millions
around the world increasingly see America not as a model of democracy
but as relying solely on brute force, cobbling coalitions together
under the slogan, 'You're either with us or against us.'
“The
United States has overstepped its borders in all spheres - economic,
political and humanitarian - and has imposed itself on other states.”
“We
must stop using the language of force and return to the path of
civilized diplomatic and political settlement.”
Are
these the words of a tyrant? A war monger? An evil, once a KGB
always a KGB Communist? No one reading these words could be that
foolish....unless there was an agenda. I think President Putin also
hit the nail on the head with a problem that we are having here. He
stated before the Sochi games, “Politics should not interfere with
sports. And sports should impact politics.” Wise words, NFL are YOU
listening?
