Many
of us still believed in the words of President John
F. Kennedy when he challenged us to “ask not what your country can
do for you, but rather what you can do for your country.” My
how the Democratic party
has
changed.
Today it’s
members only ask,
“how much can I get for free from the government? What government entitlements will they hand out to me next?”
The
progressives are interested in only one thing – power, so
they
will
offer you
anything that they think will buy your
vote whether
it’s really good for us or in the interests of our country, or not.
Why?
For only one reason, to preserve their place in political office.
Their
price for this? Just give up a little more of your freedom and
privacy
and they will take care of everything.
Some
of the loudest politicians screaming for President Trump’s
impeachment are those who had nothing when they came into office, but
after twenty or so years on a congressional salary they now live in
multi-million dollar
mansions.
(How
the elite get filthy rich under Socialism is a topic for future
discussion.)
Socialism
is one of those theories that tries to cloak itself in righteousness.
Why wouldn’t we want to provide universal services for everyone?
Isn’t it the “right” of everyone to receive everything in equal
proportion? Appreciation,
courage, and bravery when
standing up for your country has been replaced with lessons
about the struggles of transgender individuals. Nowadays standing up
and demanding the right to use whatever bathroom one wants has become
‘heroic’ and the new battle cry for the social engineers.
How
did Communist Socialism become the driving force in the Democratic
party? Since
the 1960s, the media, Hollywood and the education system have
presented a warped view of America along with a sugarcoated version
of Socialism
so
we should not be
surprised when we see so many young people (over
50% support Socialism) are
fooled
by the false promises of re-distributive
economics. That
is a result of their ignorance
and indoctrination during their school years, (government
schools as the President has called them) from
kindergarten through college.
Businessman
Henry
Kones grew up in the 1980s and has noticed the
Socialist/Progressive
movement chip away at many aspects of American life, including
traditional values, work ethic, and the family unit. He
said generationally it’s the millennials that lean toward
Socialism, partly because they “don’t know what it’s like to …
pull yourself up by your bootstraps. And
that’s where the disconnect comes in,” Kones said. “I am an
employer, so I know. They come out of universities and they have zero
job skills.”
This
movement
towards Socialism is causing us to
live in a society where the normal people who make America work put
up with disrespect on a daily basis while being told that common
sense is “triggering” college students who are going to $40,000 a
year schools. Where
basic respect for other human beings with
opposing views have
been tossed in the garbage. Where
NFL players
disrespect the flag of the country that made
them rich. Where pampered Hollywood stars lecture us about guns while
they’re protected by armed security. Where the
combined
demands
of relatively small minority interests
trample the rights of wide majorities, frustrating millions
whose forebears built this nation and made it work with broadly
accepted rules of moral and ethical conduct. Where
Liberals
in the mainstream media lie to our faces on a daily basis and think
we’re stupid enough to believe they don’t have a bias. Where
trespasses
by Progressives go unaccounted and unpunished while
(many) silly stupidities of those right of center are magnified
beyond all reason
and
where politicians
who work for us are
screaming
WE
are what’s
wrong with America.
What’s
happening now is a full-scale Progressive attack on all the
principles underlying the freedoms so many have enjoyed. Are
they screaming so loudly because they feel threatened by what a
potential ‘housecleaning’ of our government might reveal?
Considering what appears to be a government that is awash in
corruption and that the America that I love and grew up in no longer exists. Constitutional Patriots must stand firm and act for unless we do something about it America will only be found in the
documents our Founders created that rest inside climate-controlled
mounts within the National Archives.
