About Us

Are you ready for the truth? The REAL truth of who is REALLY running this country and the world. You may be shocked or shake your head in disbelief, but the truth is that everything you have learned or been told in your lifetime has been slanted or distorted to fit an agenda. It's the way they keep the populace under control. You have been programed to believe the lies. It's hard not to when the lies and half-truths are bombarding our brains daily. Do you want to continue to be controlled or are you ready to think for yourselves? We must restore a reverence for the principles of liberty underlying the U.S. Constitution in the minds of enough Americans to tip our country back toward limited constitutional government. Those who understand the importance of the Constitution to liberty will defend it. Those who don’t, won’t. - Editor: M. Richard Maxson - Contributors: George Sontag, Zeno Potas, and Phillip Todd.

Democracy is Destroying the Country

by

       George Sontag

The United States was formed as a Republic, not a democracy. Article IV, Section 4, declares: "The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government.” The Founders have given us ample warning that democracies have historically led to tyranny and that, in their wisdom, they never intended our nation to devolve into a democracy. They feared the destructiveness that a majority might have in trying to make everyone equal, and in the process taking away property, rights of property, and with it our basic freedoms which they considered "God given Freedoms." They very much feared the development of the Robin Hood mentality we are seeing today – soak the rich and give to the poor. It is a democratic drift toward Socialism.

  • “Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself.”-
    John Adams.
  • "Democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths.” - James Madison

The planned ignorance of our own history has made it easier for statists in America to blur distinctions that have traditionally defined our Republic. If people are oblivious of America`s history and the changes that are slowly being made, they would naturally have little interest in defending it or the Founders` original intent. So, what is the transformation for which progressives seek? It is the "total rejection in theory of the principles and policies on which America has been founded. By using the word "democracy," progressives (in both political parties) have effectively begun to convert our Republican system that preserves unalienable and individual rights to an increasingly Socialist system that replaces the individual`s rights with government distributed entitlements.

Instead of considering the good of the country as a whole, candidates promise the people to take care of their every need, including their medical care and the people, relying on their promises, vote for those candidates. They have forgotten about the long term good of the country, the rights and responsibilities of individuals to run their own lives, and they are fast making our country a socialized welfare state.

Our founders gave us a republic, with a representative form of government, and I believe that, under our Constitution, we have the best form of government that there has ever been. But an irresponsible people, electing irresponsible representatives, can ruin any government. We are today experiencing that very danger. We have had so much prosperity and so much ease of living, that we have lost our belief in personal responsibility. With it we have grown to believe in the ability of the government to take care of us, and we have lost our individualism.

Today, all of the leading Democratic candidates are preying on the desires of the people for healthcare and other benefits. The idea of President John F. Kennedy, "ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country," has now been completely reversed making his ideals sound like a Republican Constitutionalist. Apparently the Democratic candidates of today think that the person who can get elected is the person who can promise the most government benefits to the people. This is the exact thing that our Founders feared. It leads to a socialized welfare state, the loss of individual freedom and of individual initiative. It will lead to the demise of America as the great bastion of freedom. It will eventually destroy our form of government and our country as we know it, as it has in all past democratic experiments.

Confessions of an Elected Official - A devastating inside look at the dark side of Congress as revealed by one of its own.

as told to:

       Zeno Potas

      I was raised as a Democrat. I was taught to stand up for the little guy, and that bigger government was the best way to do that. I registered to vote as a Democrat, and several years ago some Democrats recruited me to run for Congress. Now I see how the game is played. How we run the country is not how the public is led to believe. Our constituents aren't really paying close attention to what we do here in Washington, so we do it our way.  Voters are incredibly ignorant and know little about our form of government and how it works. It's far easier than you think to manipulate a nation of naive, self-absorbed sheep who crave instant gratification. Here's how it works;

  • Democrats have built their image off of class warfare, race-based-politics, and envy. They promise, in every election, to better the lives of the afflicted by afflicting the affluent. Their entire philosophy is based, not off of individual empowerment, but off of gaining comfort through government dependency.

  • Our party used to be a strong advocate for the working class. We still pretend to be, but we aren't. Large corporations and public unions grease the palms of those who have the power to determine legislative winners and losers.

  • Most of my colleagues want to help the poor and disadvantaged. To a point. We certainly don't want to live among them. Or mingle with them, unless it's for a soup kitchen photo op. ... Poverty's a great concern as long as it's kept at a safe distance.

  • Screw the next generation. Nobody here gives a rat's ass about the future and who's going to pay for all this stuff we vote for. That's the next generation's problem. It's all about immediate publicity, getting credit now, lookin' good for the upcoming election.

  • My main job is to keep my job, to get reelected. It takes precedence over everything.

The truth is only what we say it is.

  • Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes boasted that most reporters were too dumb to know or care they were being misled. He said that much of what passed for independent analysis of Iran in the media was a regurgitation of White House talking points and was a fabrication sold to a lazy, gullible press corps.“We created an echo chamber,” he gloated. They were saying things that validated what we had given them to say.”

  • Voters claim they want substance and detailed position papers, but what they really crave are cutesy cat videos, celebrity gossip, top 10 lists, reality TV shows, tabloid tripe, and Trump's next Twitter message.

  • Like most of my colleagues, I promise my constituents a lot of stuff I can never deliver. But what the hell? If it makes them happy hearing it, and they’re stupid enough to believe it, shame on them.

  • I contradict myself all the time, but few people notice. One minute I rail against excessive spending and ballooning debt. The next minute I'm demanding more spending on education, health care, unemployment benefits, conservation projects, yadda yadda yadda. I'm for having everything, just like my constituents.

We represent the people?

  • My staff gives me a last-minute briefing before I go to the floor and tells me whether to vote yea or nay.  I seldom read any bills I vote on. I don’t even know how they’ll be implemented or what they’ll cost.

  • I sometimes vote “yes” on a motion and “no” on an amendment so I can claim I’m on either side of an issue. It’s the old shell game: if you can’t convince ’em, confuse ’em

  • ObamaCare was a conspiracy not between Obama and the American people against the insurance companies, but rather, between Obama and the insurance companies against the American people.

This has been an honest look at our government in Washington. The people in the political class constantly reveal their contempt for regular citizens. That contempt is the inevitable result of a group of people who have convinced themselves that big government is necessary because we, the little people, can’t control their own lives. These same politicians and bureaucrats then begin to see themselves a genuinely better than everyone else. After all, if they were just like us, then they’d be part of the rabble, and they can’t have that.

Slavery and the Founding Fathers

        M. Richard Maxson

The current push in America by the Progressive Left is to discredit the founders of this nation by presenting them as racist, white men who because of the flaw of slavery were unfit to design the moral compass of the new country. This theory is being used to discredit everything that they stood for and most especially, the Constitution and the laws of the nation.

This was most recently exemplified During Democrat Sen. Bernie Sanders' campaign visit to Liberty University. Most were shocked when he told the students that our nation was created on racist principles and therefore illegitimate. Students at a Christian-based university do not often hear the founders-as-racists argument. This is the Progressive, anti-American narrative that is featured at most universities, as well as primary and secondary schools in this country. These hate-America teachings are based on the fact
that slavery is a part of our history. What is left untaught is: Slavery was a routine part of human history. At that point in history the Muslims of Africa were the world's largest exporter of slaves and it still exists today!

Our Founding Fathers struggled mightily over the issue of slavery. In the north it was winding down but in the south it was vital for their commerce. Without the compromises that were made, the United States of America would not have been formed as it was and at the time that it was. In politics there are times when men must hold their nose and reconcile with the reality of the times.

It was not what the Founding Fathers would have preferred as they so eloquently expressed to their peers.

George Washington said,
"I can only say that there is not a man living who wishes more sincerely than I do, to see a plan adopted for the abolition of it."

Thomas Jefferson, John Jay, Patrick Henry and others were highly critical of slavery, describing it as a "disease of ignorance," "an inconsistency not to be excused" and a "lamentable evil."

George Mason said, "The augmentation of slaves weakens the states; and such a trade is diabolical in itself, and disgraceful to mankind."

James Madison, in a speech at the 1787 Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia, declared, "We have seen the mere distinction of color made in the most enlightened period of time, a ground of the most oppressive dominion ever exercised by man over man."

Benjamin Rush said: "Domestic slavery is repugnant to the
principles of Christianity. ... It is rebellion against the authority of a common Father."

In their effort to create a union, the delegates at the Constitutional Convention had to negotiate many contentious, deal-breaking issues. Slavery was chief among them. Southern states made clear that they would not vote to ratify a constitution that abolished slavery or ended the slave trade.

Northern delegates wanted to end slave trading and did not want slaves counted at all for congressional apportionment. Southern delegates wanted slaves counted as whole people. That would have given the pro-slavery states greater political power in the House of Representatives, tilting the power structure of the nation to the South

Convention delegate James Wilson offered a compromise whereby each slave would be counted as three-fifths of a person for the purposes of determining the number of representatives a state would have in the House. This rule applied only to slaves. Freemen, whether black or white, would be counted as whole people. Another compromise was to set 1808 as the year to abolish the slave trade.

The Three-Fifths Compromise was not a statement about human worth; it was an to reduce the pro-slavery representation in Congress. By including only three-fifths of the total number of slaves in congressional calculations, Southern states were actually being denied a greater number of representatives in Congress and hence electoral votes for selecting a president.

Ignorance of our history and Leftist propaganda coupled with an inability to think critically, has provided considerable ammunition for those who want to divide us in pursuit of their Socialist agenda. Their agenda is to undermine the legitimacy of our Constitution in order to gain greater control over our lives.

Their main targets are the nation's youths. The teaching
establishment, at our public schools and colleges, is being used to undermine American values. Contempt for America and its founding ideals are now being indoctrinated into America's youth from grade school on.* If shown any of the iconic paintings of the Founders such as signing the Declaration of Independence or deliberating at the Constitutional Convention -- rather than seeing great people creating a great nation, most young Americans now only see racist, sexist, rich, slave-owning white males. Allowing these untruths to continue erodes the core principals of our country that can only lead to the end of this great Republic.

  • 26. First President to go on multiple "global apology tours" and concurrent "insult our allies."

The Real Party of the Rich in Today's America

 by

       M. Richard Maxson

Fifty years ago, Republicans had a big financial advantage, and few rich people backed liberals. In the 21st century this is not the case. Democrats have become the party of the rich.  Most of today’s rich love Barack Obama—so much so that Washington D.C. area airports ran out of space to handle all of the private jets flying in the well-heeled for both of his inaugurals and high cost parties. Democrats now control the majority of the nation's wealthiest congressional jurisdictions. More than half of the wealthiest households are concentrated in the 18 states where Democrats control both Senate seats. This new political demography holds true in the House of Representatives, where the leadership of each party hails from different worlds. Nancy Pelosi, Democratic leader of the House of Representatives, represents one of America's wealthiest regions. Her San Francisco district has more than 43,700 high-end households. So please, enough of this about Democrats being the party of the little guy.

In 2012, Barack Obama carried eight of America's 10 wealthiest counties.  He carried the majority of the richer rich, those making $200,000 or more per
year.  These rich Democrats level of wealth is different, and how they earn it is different. They live in rich social enclaves. They live on the two coasts, and have a different value system.  They are not religious.  They are not family oriented and they are determined to "change" America. The most famous example would be in the entertainment industry, where star-studded events have become a significant part of Democratic fund raising culture.  These “elite” group of liberal “millionaires and billionaires” is pumping money into an elaborate network of groups to influence the country's policies, even using “shady” donations from foreign companies to fund their efforts.

There is argument over the definition of what is rich. Mainstream media supports Democrat propaganda by defining rich as households that earn more than $75,000.  In today's world, seventy-five thousand for a two-income household is not rich. The unbiased Pew Report states that the median wealth for the middle class was $96,500.  A review of the 20 richest Americas found that 60 percent affiliate with the Democratic Party…Among the richest families, the Democratic advantage rises even higher, to 75 percent.

This falsehood of fighting against those "rich Republicans"continues to be pushed as a main driving force of the Democrats and the mostly uneducated people in this country consider it as truth. The real truth is that it is the education levels that prove that Republicans are the party of America’s middle and working class, while Democrats are the party of the extremes.  People who vote Democrat haven’t graduated from high school or else tend to have post-graduate degrees. The majority of high school graduates, people with some college, and people with a college degree are Republican.  Education largely determines class in this country. The educated can plainly see the "big lie" but judging by the last few decades election results, many cannot.

If the media would ever check Democrat talking points, the evidence that Democrats are the party of the rich is easy to find. There are now more Democratic millionaires in Congress than Republican ones. Of 534 current members of Congress, at least 268 were millionaires, according the Center for Responsive Politics’ review of financial disclosure reports filed last year. The Democratic party is that the party is increasingly ruled by the “new oligarchs.” In his review of The New Class Conflict, by Joel Kotkin, a lifelong Democrat, George Will explains that there is a “growing alliance between the ultra-wealthy and the instruments of state power. The bigger the government, the easier it is for the increased power to be abused by moneyed interests. Growing the government doesn’t change that fact; it only changes the people who become rich. In Hollywood and high tech, there is a sudden jump into wealth. The very richest of these are Democrats.

Yes, but haven’t many of the leading plutocrats, such as Warren Buffett and Bill Gates, embraced higher income taxes? Yes, they have, but one important fact has escaped notice: higher income tax rates will not touch the bulk of the fortunes of today’s plutocrats, for the simple reason that the great bulk of the accumulated wealth of Gates, Buffett, Silicon Valley and Wall Street consists of appreciated asset values—not ordinary income. Few seem to be aware that most of this wealth has never been taxed, and in the case of Buffett and Gates, who are taking advantage of the charitable foundation laws, will never be taxed. Rich Leftists are not stupid, but maybe we Americans still are.

The First Amendment and The Rise Censorship in America

By

       George Sontag

The left's assault on the First Amendment---from free speech to religious liberty---is total. Nothing is exempt from the tyrants of tolerance.”
                           - Gary Bauer - End of Day report (3/11/16)

Four in 10 young Americans have no idea what America is. That's the conclusion of a new Pew Research poll showing that 40 percent of Americans aged 18-34 say that the government should be able to prevent people from making "statements that are offensive to minority groups." In a democracy, citizens must be able to criticize their leaders. It's a reason America's founders put free speech in the Bill of Rights.

The Left uses “rights” agendas to wrap itself in the mantle of righteousness and seize the supposed moral high ground, tactically putting us on the defense in the process. They encourage censorship in the name of "tolerance,"but they couldn’t care less about the actual issue except in its ability to facilitate their path to power. They do this to force people to accept what they don’t agree with. It's a double standard on the part of liberals when it comes to this issue. “Free speech for me, but not for thee.”

Perhaps the biggest censorship of all by liberals
comes in the form of political correctness which is a style of politics in which the more radical members of the left attempt to regulate political discourse by defining opposing views as bigoted and illegitimate.” It is censorship before the fact. Censorship in speech not even yet given. Censorship of perceived thoughts.

Their attempts to destroy the first amendment can be seen on the college campuses today as.........
  • Leftists shout down unpopular ideas or simply forbid nonconforming views from being heard there in the first place.
  • Declared academic freedom an “outdated concept."
  • Declaring that freedom is oppressive and that they should not be expected to tolerate ideas that they do not share.
  • They have violently assaulted students studying in libraries and assaulted student journalists with whom they disagree.
  • They are demanding mandatory ideological indoctrination sessions for nonconforming students.
  • They have staged dozens of phony hate crimes and sexual assaults as a pretext for persecuting unpopular organizations and people....
  • ...and the list goes on.

For the past several decades, government public schools and nearly all colleges have touted socialism’s principles of redistribution, racialism and class envy while declining to make the connection between socialism and tyranny, which the lost lives of hundreds of thousands of souls in the twentieth century attest to. It’s no wonder that so many young people have a rosy view of Socialism when it’s depicted as the epitome of compassion and “fairness” instead of for the passive slavery which it imposes.

If the First Amendment can be challenged this way; if a certain group’s “rights” can trump the U.S. Constitution, and if the Supreme Court can actually issue an edict making it so, then the entire Constitution has become meaningless. This is the Left’s true agenda and it always has been. The goal for them has always been destroying the country's identity in order to impose Democratic Socialism -- with them in charge, of course. In order to do that they have to strip America of its culture, its traditions, and most importantly, the most important law of the land, the U.S. Constitution.
