"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive." -- C.S. Lewis”
It
was tough to watch the Democratic National Convention's blatant use
of racism to push forward their platform and candidates. The narrative was
one of of eternal White Racism. They embellished the Socialist and
Communist funded Black Lives Matter movement, with its central claim
that police around the country are hunting and killing innocent
black men, which is based on a lie, but then, the entire Democratic
party is based on lies.
They
continue to claim that they are for the poor and working class. This
isn't so because they aren’t who you think they are. The
Democrats are a class party; it’s just that the class in
question is not the one we think it is. It’s not working people,
you know, middle class. It’s the professional class. It’s people
with advanced degrees. The one-time party of the working class
has been co-opted by a hyper-educated elite. These
elite feel immune
to criticism and are empowered by their peers that run our a racially
divisive liberal media establishment, and they are affirmed by their Leftist academics who rarely live in the real world.
The
left has been supplying both victimhood and lies to black America.
The lies are that America is a racist society -- as the
president of the United States himself has said, racism is "still
part of (America's) DNA" -- that the greatest problem facing
young blacks is racism, and that white (and even black) police
routinely kill blacks for no reason other than racism. Another lie.
Using
racism as a political weapon they
have recklessly created
an imaginary America, where society is far more racist
today than during the Civil Rights Era. They’re silent
when flashmobs of black violence terrorize white victims.
White victims that aren't them. The Democratic position is that
only whites can be racist, because only the powerful can be racist,
and whites have all the power. Their campaign continues
fomenting of anti-white hatred among black Americans and
the nurturing of white guilt among their followers.
They
claim that "only following their policies and ideals will bring
America back to what it once was." The problem with that
statement is that it is also, a lie. Barack
Obama is the most partisan president in our life time and he
seems to understand almost instinctively that racial polarization is
essential to the Democratic Party’s electoral strategy. Division
does not serve the interests of the country, or the interests of a
divided people. It only serves the political interests of the
Democratic party. They promote division along racial and class lines
and this continues to drive Americans apart at a time when
we desperately need to come together.
