Why
has so much journalism succumbed to propaganda? Why are censorship
and distortion standard practice? Why is the MSM so often a
mouthpiece of corporate power? Why do the New York Times and the
Washington Post deceive their readers? Why is the truth being turned
upside down and inside out by journalists? Why
are these
young journalists not taught to understand media agendas and to
challenge the agenda
driven
fake objectivity? These are urgent questions that
need to be examined in order to put upright America’s slanted
media. The short answer is that they would be fired or forced out as
so many have been. Tow the leftist corporate line or be gone.
That
being said, it’s clear that not every single thing we see in the
mainstream western media is a lie, but
it seems that much of it is or at least has corporate and political
bias’ behind it, especially when it comes to major global events
like war and terrorism and
a president they do not want.
America’s
global propaganda operations include Voice of America, Radio Free
Europe/Radio Liberty, Radio
Free Asia, along with Radio and TV Marti aimed at Cuba, and Middle
East broadcasting networks. Moreover,
the United States operates a vast network of news agencies that work,
officially and unofficially, to promote the interests of the American
ruling class all over the world. This
is why we here, at The American Constitutionalist, constantly ask our
followers to read news from outside the sphere of western influence
in order to make a decision for yourselves, not blindly believe what
you are being told.
It’s
unfortunate that our world has been plagued by political agendas, and
that the infiltration of media has become out of control. Further,
it’s disturbing to think that only a handful of corporations run
and control mainstream media. The
fact that the main source of information and so-called
‘truth’ about our world, and what’s happening on it for
Americans,
is a television screen with with news from corporations with multiple
agendas who dictate government policy. In many
cases, what western media says is the complete opposite of what other
countries report. We’ve seen this recently concerning Russia and
the United States and
NATO,
ISIS, Europe and the United States and we see it with many other
topics as well such
as the mysterious political assassinations that happen right here on
our soil and elsewhere.
The
bottom line is that each of us is grossly ignorant about the world in
which we live. Westerners
have gross ignorance about how the world operates by
the
elites who
seek to control our lives because
most of us are too busy to get beyond five second soundbites.
Nothing's wrong with that ignorance, but we are stupid if we believe
that a politician or
political party can
produce a better life than that which is obtained through peaceable,
voluntary exchange of
true facts with
our fellow man anywhere on earth. Soren
Kierkegaard wrote, “Truth
always rests with the minority … because the minority is generally
formed by those who really have an opinion, while the strength of a
majority is illusory, formed by the gangs who have no opinion.”
The
truth will not be denied. The truth always wins. To the extent that
we align ourselves with it, we thrive. To the extent that we deny it,
we suffer. To
American Patriots, to our readers, we say - use your critical analytical thinking and find that truth.
