But what about the truth?
initially as the opposite of the news as used to be broadcast in the Soviet Bloc, or China, or "Third World" in general, which was branded as "state-controlled," "propaganda," and therefore false. They claim that they are the only independent, objective, and fair media. Nothing could be further from the truth. The media is used by the corporate, political, and intelligence world. They are sold stories, and present fake narratives on various global events for a number of different reasons. They cater only to their agenda shaping public opinion by passing on half-truths and outright lies to the public. It is systemic mass deception. One might then even call the media, in Orwell's words, "objectively pro-fascist," functioning much in the manner of the old Pravda and Izvesti of the Soviet Union. They have become what they claim the others were. In this information era dismantling that falsehood and exposing its lies can be done, not by taking in news offered only by these corporate conglomerates, but by researching other sources from around the world and using critical analytical thinking to come to a truthful conclusion.
Gone are the days of true journalism. The content you see is only there because you have been “allowed” to see it. All of these things can be used to influence your views on the world. The information you see can be manipulated to shape your thoughts and understanding. Instead of silencing your opinions, they may simply be… altered. This silent propaganda is the cause of the majority of our nations’ problems. This is what is causing the division in our country.
The good news is that more and more people across the globe are starting to wake up to all of the misinformation being spread on a daily basis, and that includes the agenda of those behind it. Even a decade ago, the mass populace was not as aware that all is not as it seems, and as a result of this mass awakening, our perception, our thoughts, our collective consciousness is beginning to shift. Many intelligent people no longer see the world the way it has been presented to us, and they are starting to wake up to all of the propaganda that surrounds us and that is creating big problems for the global elite. The very first step to changing a problem is to first recognize that problem, and we are still in that process. The more people recognize what’s really happening in our world, the more people will take a stand and do whatever they can to change it. This is happening now, in several different ways, and it starts with you and me.
